If I have filmed you, I will provide this data to the client who requested the filming. They are the data controller and I am not responsible for how they use, store or share the finished films and the accompanying rushes.

I will not film young people or children without their parent or carers’ consent.

 

 

 

What you need to know if you are being filmed by me

 

When I film you, it will be at the request of a client so I will be processing data to carry out my work for them and will therefore rely on the legitimate interest as my lawful basis. You should look at the privacy notice of the client, i.e. the data controller, to see what lawful basis they are relying on to process your data and what rights you have in relation to this.

During filming, I will record your face and may process your name and job role if requested by my client.   I will record and edit the footage I capture and share with the client.   I will keep the rushes for 48 months after filming in case the client requires them after our contract has ended, unless I am requested to delete them sooner.

In order to deliver a service clients need to be able to contact me, via email or phone. The lawful basis I rely on to process your personal data in this way is legitimate interest. I will require your name and contact details in order to do business with you. I keep your details on our audio and video editing computers and on Microsoft 365.  I keep your details for 48 months in case I need to contact you after are work is complete or in case we do business together again.
